What you get

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use this app on your devices. The content, the brand, the texts and the reflection material remain ours.

Access is by yearly or monthly subscription with automatic renewal, sold through the App Store, with seven days free on your first subscription. The account can be created first, and on the subscription screen you choose between starting the trial and continuing on the free plan, with the home screen and the Reading of the book of Proverbs. If the free trial ends without payment, or the subscription ends, the account moves to that plan. The price, renewal, cancellation, what the free plan includes and what happens to your data are described in the "Billing" section of the Privacy Policy and on the subscription screen, before purchase. Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription: you cancel it in iPhone Settings.

What is expected of you

To use the app for its purpose and not try to copy, redistribute or resell the content.

To keep your password secret and take responsibility for what happens in your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password or delete the account from your Profile.

In the Community, there is zero tolerance: tell your side without naming or identifying anyone else; no offense, mockery or attacks on anyone; no sexual content; no encouragement of self-harm; no advice to stop treatment or medication; no ads, links, phone numbers or contacts. Anyone who breaks the rules leaves the Community. Every decision gives the reason, says whether a person or the system decided, and can be reviewed once. Reports made just to harm someone also have consequences. Ranking points cannot be bought or traded; trying to inflate them removes you from that month’s ranking and prize.

At a table, your nickname is the only text of yours that other people see: choose one that does not offend anyone. Anyone who feels uncomfortable with someone at the table can report that person within the app, and whoever opened the table can remove them. We may close a table or an account used to harass other people.

Monthly prize

The monthly prize is a physical plaque for the highest valid score of the month across all communities: there is a single 1st place per month in the whole app, and there is no minimum number of people. The ranking you see is your community’s (the group of up to one hundred people you share the ranking with), and being 1st in it does not guarantee the prize. The plaque is vertical, 30 cm high by 22 cm wide, and is engraved with the name, the score, the month and the year. It cannot be exchanged for money.

The period is each calendar month, from the 1st until 11:59 p.m. on the last day, in your time zone. The ranking starts over on the 1st, and plaques already won stay saved.

Anyone with an account who lives in Brazil, is 18 or older and is in the ranking can take part, as long as the subscription or the free trial is in effect when the month closes: whoever is on the free plan at that moment does not compete. The app team appears in the ranking but does not compete, and neither do test accounts. Anyone who has won can win again in another month.

Points are earned by your first action of the day (35), today’s action (10 more), your second and third actions (10 and 5), coming back to a principle 21 days later (10 more), your first action after 7 days or more without any (10 more), a completed study, lesson or saying of the day (5 each, up to 2 times a day across the three; the saying counts once a day) and a new medal (5 to 20), with a limit of 80 points per day. Reading, opening the app, talking to the Counselor, posting and reacting earn no points. Points cannot be bought or traded.

On a tie in points, the one ahead is whoever did the day’s action on more days; then whoever scored on more days; then the longest streak of consecutive days with points; and, last, whoever reached that score first. One name always comes out, and there is no drawing.

The 1st place appears for everyone on the 1st of the next month at 7 a.m., Brasília time. Trying to inflate points, by marking without doing or with more than one account, removes the person from the ranking and from the prize. The team checks age and residence in the reply to the prize e-mail. Whoever does not meet them is disqualified, and the prize goes to the next in the overall standings. Whoever deletes their account while the plaque has not yet been sent also loses the prize, which goes to the next in the same way. A plaque already sent or delivered stays with whoever won it.

Delivery is arranged by e-mail: the team writes to the account address, and the reply brings the name and the delivery address in Brazil. The app does not ask for the address. The plaque goes out within 30 days after the reply, with shipping and taxes on us, and whoever does not reply within 180 days after the close loses the prize. The details sent by e-mail are used only to check eligibility and ship the plaque, and stay with the team only for as long as the law requires.

The organizer is the owner of O Conselheiro, CNPJ 66.936.266/0001-59. Apple does not sponsor or take part in this prize.

The Counselor by voice

The Counselor’s answers may contain errors, inaccuracies or advice unsuited to your case, and should not be treated as professional guidance of any kind.

Do not use the Counselor for emergencies. If a life is at risk, in Brazil call 188 (CVV) or 192 (SAMU).

You can report any answer from the Counselor screen itself. Please use that path: it is the only way for us to know something went wrong, because the conversation is not recorded.

We may limit, suspend or turn off this feature at any time, for cost, for safety or because of abusive use. The principle of the day and the Reading keep working either way.

Limits of the content

The material is educational and reflective, based on principles from the book of Proverbs. It is not diagnosis, therapy, psychological counseling, or legal, financial or medical guidance.

The decisions you make based on what you read here are yours. In situations involving health, safety, violence or money, seek a professional.

Features may be added, changed or removed between versions. Areas marked "Coming soon" describe product intent, not a commitment to a timeline.
